Saša Radenovic (1970) found the Amsterdam based Architectuurstudio Radenovic in 2012. After graduating as an architect at the Academy of Architecture Amsterdam, he worked on various architectural projects, ranging from the scale of an urban plan, residential buildings, private houses to interiors. Architectuurstudio now mostly investigates in researches and project that both serve architectural and public spaces in cities. 

The studio investigates in new ways to organize ideas and integrates both the programmatic and functional requirements of spatial environments. The context, the history and the people inhabiting the space play a central role in the projects.

Saša Radenovic is also a lecturer at the Academy of Architecture in Amsterdam and the coordinator of Archiprix Balkan as a part of Archiprix International.

Architectuurstudio Radenovic wordt sinds 2012 geleid door Saša Radenovic in Amsterdam. Daarvoor werkte hij bij verschillende architectenbureaus aan projecten die variëren van de schaal van een stedenbouwkundig plan, woongebouwen, particuliere woonhuizen tot interieurs.  

 

Architectuurstudio Radenovic is bijzonder geïnteresseerd in de context, de ervaring van tijd, ruimte, licht en materialen. Bij elk project onderzoekt de studio nieuwe manieren om een idee te organiseren en te integreren met zowel de programmatische als de functionele eisen van een gebouw. Het ontwerp is vaak sterk conceptgericht en dat is samen met de context duidelijk afleesbaar in het gebouw.

 

Saša Radenovic is tevens als docent bij de Academie van Bouwkunst in Amsterdam betrokken en bij het opzetten van Archiprix Balkan 2016. Tussen 2011-2014 werkte Radenovic als docent Architectuur en Bouwtechniek aan de Faculteit voor Natuur en Techniek op de Hogeschool in Utrecht.
